Our Carolien has of course experienced all sorts of things again. Shoots, recordings for a new telefilm and fortunately also a little shopping here and there. Are you reading along?

For the first time in 10 years, Jon and I got to take a photo together for Grazia. We were both dressed from head to toe in one of my favourite brands ‘Avelon’: we could have walked straight to the altar! Posing came so easily to Jon, I now suspect he has a side job as a model… I’m already looking forward to our next fashion shoot together!

Two years ago, Marly and I did an eye test together to check if we might need glasses. We were somewhat disappointed when it turned out our eyes were still in perfect condition: glasses were the only fashion accessory missing from our closet and a fake pair is just a bit too far for us.

But last week I walked into Eye Wish to check my eyes again: sometimes I have trouble focusing when I’m tired. Luckily, my eyes hadn’t deteriorated and I passed the eye test with flying colors. To still leave the place with a new acquisition, I picked out a really cool Persol: then Jon can borrow it sometime too.

Meet my new love: this gem from Gram Shoes. Of course, it’s Scandinavian made, like all the brands that make my heart race. My patience is just being tested a little longer: they are from the AW15 collection. Already found a reason to look forward to winter :-).

If there’s a chai tea latte on the menu, I have to try it. My absolute favorite is the homemade version at restaurant Roast. I now have three types of chai powder in my cupboard, but they still taste less good than those from outside. But when I found the chai tea from Rebel Kitchen in my goodie bag last week, I finally found a version for home! The Matcha Green Tea is also nice to warm up and I tried the chai variant this morning with my granola: I’ve found my perfect breakfast.

This week we started a hellish night marathon for the telefilm ‘Kamp Holland’. For two weeks, I get to shoot four nights a week until 5 AM, what a party! I can already look forward to crawling into this onesie from Lingadore at the end of the day: a prelude to my bed! Jon refused to take this photo because he really thinks it looks terrible. But believe me: once he puts on this suit, he’ll want to live in it…
