Carolien ran around in a military outfit with a gun, started a tea detox, stood in front of the Grazia lens, and embraced her new dining chairs. Read more quickly.
The end is in sight! Just 1 night to go and I have survived all the night shoots again. The past 2 weeks felt like one long jet lag combined with a huge runny nose and flu chills. But enough complaining: the shoots were really fantastic. How often do you get to run in a military outfit with a gun to a burning vehicle?! I honestly have the coolest job ever.
My goal is to do a juice cleanse once a year to completely cleanse my body. Everyone has an opinion about it and many disapprove, but the 2 times I did such a cleanse I felt super healthy and energetic. Luckily, it is increasingly seen as a ‘cleansing’ rather than a ‘crash diet’. Since such a cleanse is practically impossible during those irregular shooting days, I started a 14-day Teatox. Every morning and evening I drink a cup of tea made from a special herbal mix to cleanse my body. To be continued.
During my Grazia shoot with Jon, photographer Suzanne Rensink took a few extra portraits. I am so happy with the result! Fun fact: Suzanne only shoots with ‘natural’ light. So no lamp was involved. Ehh Suzanne, can you teach us how you always look so good in natural light?
It was almost 7 months of waiting, but last week they were finally delivered: our dining chairs! It had been so long, I hoped the colors would still match well with the rest of the interior. Luckily, that was absolutely the case. Another reason to organize some cozy dinners.
Acting is also a whole lot of waiting. And what do you do during that waiting? Exactly: checking photos on Instagram for hours. Last night around 3 AM, I stumbled upon this beauty of a Louis Vuitton bag. MUST.HAVE.IT.NOW. Luckily, I didn't have my credit card on hand and the webshop isn't as simple as Topshop.com, otherwise it would have gone completely wrong. Too little sleep is so bad for you on so many fronts.
