A CUP OF COFFEE FOR THE SKIN

You might be enjoying a nice cup of coffee right now to get through the morning slump. Coffee doesn't always have the best reputation, but I have some good news for all the people with a shamefully high Starbucks bill and a constant craving for coffee.

There is indeed some good to caffeine. According to various researchers, caffeine can reduce the risk of developing heart disease and skin cancer. I don't want to claim anything about that, but it would certainly be a nice bonus.

Additionally, you often see caffeine in beauty products. It has an antioxidant effect and can also help limit the accumulation of moisture. You see it a lot in eye creams, which provide effects quite quickly. That moisture-limiting element is of course very nice in that eye cream, but I would definitely recommend using a hydrating cream as well. You don't want the rest of your skin to dry out. Furthermore, caffeine also has a calming effect. So if you look a bit red and stressed, then you just place a coffee filter on your face. Just kidding. A product with caffeine then.

So coffee is good. There are fun recipes for coffee masks to be found on the internet, but there aren't many products with a high concentration of caffeine yet. There are certainly products with some caffeine in them, but often the amount is so low that it doesn't provide the effect. For now, you'll just have to keep visiting Starbucks. Because it does good in any case.
