Keeping your hand and nail game strong
I decided to let the nail art trend pass me by this year. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with it and I am impressed with the works of art people are able to create, but I prefer to keep my nails natural and sophisticated. However, there are a few trends which did catch my attention since they have someone managed to translate interior trends that I love into works of art on your nails.
Marble nails
The marble look is back. At home and on your nails. Whereas it used to look somewhat outdated in your living room, you can’t outrun it anymore. My iPhone case has a marble print, a friend of mine has the most coveting marble table in her house and it’s a hit on Instagram. So becoming a nail trend was obviously a no brainer. It requires a bit of artistic talent and a steady hand, but you’ll be very on trend as they say.
Knitted nails
This winter your house is going to be covered in the cutest knitted blankets, pillows and baskets and it’s no longer uncommon to see knits combined with lamps and vases. And not to forget, getting suited up in knitted sweaters and scarves. Now it’s worked your way to your hands. It’s as if you’ve printed miniature sweaters onto your nails.
a whiff of metallic
Make not of the word whiff here. As in; a small touch of. Don’t go overboard. Let’s just say, a subtle touch of metallic never hurt nobody. So translate that onto your nails. Perfect for the Christmas holidays. A touch of gold or silver and the rest should stay nude.
