It was another varied week for Holland's Next Top Model candidate Debbie Dhillon. She works for Touché Models in India and there she hops from shoot to casting to cover.
This week started with a casting for a soap brand and the day after I had a shoot for Flipkart.com, an online shopping paradise. The shoot was in a very beautiful hotel where I saw this image of an elephant: so beautiful.
All the clothing for the shoot was hung out and steamed, so during that time I could get my hair and makeup done. During the break, I had that delicious Choco Javachip Frappuccino again and in the meantime, my hands were decorated with henna. This was a bridal shoot and here in India, hands are adorned with henna. The shoot took place on the rooftop of a hotel. Since group photos were taken, I am in the photo with fellow models.
After the shoot, I went home in style in a rickshaw.
That evening I was invited to the Young Designer Award, organized by Grazia. I saw all kinds of acquaintances that I had met in the past months. Very nice, such parties! When I left, I received a nice goodie bag and yes, when I got home, I found all sorts of goodies in that bag. This was the tastiest brownie ever! You know me by now: completely devoured late at night.
Because I had that brownie, I had to work out the next day of course. After that, I had some fittings and a rehearsal that lasted into the evening for the Marks & Spencer show that would take place the next day. It was going to be an outdoor show, very cool.
After a casting for a jewelry line, it was the M&S show. It was very nice with the other models: a lot of waiting and in between snacking on my self-made couscous salad. Delicious, quick to make and healthy. After the show, I went out to eat with a friend who is also a model. Then exhausted home.
After this busy day, I was with my roommate all day at a friend's house. At my home, an insect treatment was being carried out, which is why we couldn't be home. That friend we were with has a helper who cooks for her. Luxury and now we could also stay for dinner! I went to help in the kitchen, who knows, I might learn something new...
Just two more days of chilling and working out and I will be ready for a new week full of adventures that I will of course tell you all about.
If you want to travel with me in between, you can follow me at @DebbieDhillon.
