NICE COOKING GIFTS

Not that Sinterklaas is really around the corner (I won't talk about Christmas yet, Lies) , but for some, the draw has already taken place to have enough time for the longest poems and the most beautiful surprises. For a gift, I usually dive into a cooking store where I can find something for everyone, whether you're a kitchen princess or not. With a, funny corkscrew everyone is happy, right? Because we are all so incredibly busy these days, I have already scoured the net for the nicest cooking gifts. You don't have to worry about that anymore. Now just that poem.

1. Kitchen apron WITLOFT €139.95.

A kitchen apron is sometimes a bit fussy, but I can't do without it. I tend to make a mess. I think this apron is cool. Also for a man.

A cheese fondue set. Delicious for the cold days ahead and it really looks nice on the table. This is one of the few dishes that I 'cook' from a package. Super easy and I can't make it any better myself. Just find it in the cooling section of the Appie.

I have a slight dislike for garlic presses. They are quite handy, but they smell incredibly, because you can never really get such a press clean. Then I came across this one. Place a clove (of garlic) on a cutting board and press down with this little boat on the garlic. The clove gets pressed through and you can easily scrape off the 'pulp' for the pan.

I really like using this thing. You can make strands of vegetables with it. Zucchini for pasta or carrots for the salad, for example.

Poaching eggs is an art, so it often fails, but once you get it right, you can easily elevate a dish and it seems like you can cook very 'high-end'. With these handy cups, poaching almost never fails. And they also look nice. Never tell anyone you have them at home, okay?

A must-have in the kitchen. This is the best hand soap ever. You pay a bit for it, but then you get something good. And the fun part is: probably the person (to whom you give this) will use a pump every day and will always think of you.
