Fun doesn't have to be expensive
Normally, I don't blink an eye when I have to spend a few hundred euros on a dress or a pair of pants. Or something that might be even more relevant: for shoes. “Well, it comes with my job,” I hear myself say. Followed by a “I have nothing to wear.” But we both know that's actually not true. Not at all. It's really nonsense that clothes have to be expensive. I know that for sure, but I always have the feeling that ‘the more expensive, the better.’.
So, a good life lesson that I was asked this week to choose a nice outfit from www.dress-for-less.nl (a site I had of course never heard of) with lots of nice brands. To be honest, brands that I thought were a. much more expensive and b. maybe much less nice than they seemed.
I chose this nice floral cheerful dress from Pepe Jeans program. Danny Panadero kicks off the party at Costa. black jacket from Sisley, which fits perfectly with a dress, but is also quite business-like with black pants or possibly more casual for the weekend with jeans. You want that too. In any case, I am super happy with it, because it costs nothing, and you know: if something costs little, you can buy three times as much. Happy shopping!
