Now I am quite satisfied with my body, but you can bet that I spend hours a week lifting weights or running a few laps in Vondelpark. Nope, it doesn't happen by itself. Now I actually really enjoy exercising and it's also good for my mind (which can be quite full sometimes). There are people who don't have to do anything to look good in their outfit. Quite annoying, I know, but they often have a super fast metabolism. We can also work on that. With these tips.
Move a lot. Try to be active for at least 30 minutes a day. It doesn't have to be in the gym, but try to walk or bike more. If you really want to tackle it well, then do an interval training every now and then. That's a really good way to speed up your metabolism.
Start the day with water and lemon, it gets your digestion going well in the morning. Opinions are very divided on this, but believe me, it works really well for me.
Let's stay with the morning for a moment, because it's very important to have breakfast. That engine needs to be started especially in the morning.
Eat small portions several times a day. That's much better than two or three large meals. That engine (your metabolism) keeps running nicely and can digest food much better and faster than huge meals.
Eat a spicy meal more often. For example, add a red pepper. That also stimulates fat burning. Not an unnecessary luxury.
Flaxseed. People who eat it for the first time might need to run straight to the toilet. This seed is full of fibers and good fats which makes everything work really well down there.
