Hair trend:
pimp your ponytail
A ponytail is nice and easy, but I rarely wear it. A dinner at the Thai with a flowing hairstyle often results in me having sticky red curry hair. So when I dined at my favorite Thai restaurant (Pahop Thai on Albert Cuyp in Amsterdam) yesterday, I first ran to the drugstore for thin hair ties and quickly pimped my ponytail:
Put a generous amount of mousse in your hair and comb it back tightly.
Make a tight ponytail at the center of your head. To make the hairstyle extra tight, trim your hair a bit from your forehead and finish it off with hairspray. Don't be too stingy with this, as it prevents flyaway baby hairs.
Then take four small hair ties and tie them around your hair about every five centimeters, depending on the length of your hair. And there you have it, uh, ponytail.
