Hoe je je haar doet
For five weeks now, we've been presenting you with the coolest hairstyles of the season, and now there's just a sixth one added: executive sweet. Nice to practice a bit today, so you can walk into the office on Monday full of confidence. This hairstyle stands for business and is essential for a power meeting. So enjoy your weekend immensely and tomorrow you'll know what to do.
Was it all a bit too fast? Here’s the detailed version so you know exactly how to do it all yourself. Or rather, how you must do it. This way, you step out the door full of confidence. Let’s powerrrrr.
Step 1
Create a parting
First, make a diagonal parting. Use a point comb because it really creates a straight line. If you find it difficult to determine the location of the parting, you can also use your point comb. The highest point of your eyebrow is where you can best and most beautifully start your parting.
Step 2
Prepping
With a bit of gelatine, you can best prep your hair. This time, of course, not to make it stiffer, but precisely to make it very sleek and shiny. A fingertip is enough. Spread it over your palm, warm it up, and then apply it from the parting through the entire hair.
Step 3
Styling
Use a straightener and a small comb for the best result. Place the comb above your ear and glide down with the straightener above it. The comb keeps all the strands nice and tight, so you can't go wrong. Also, make sure to straighten the roots well and style the ends of the strands slightly inward. Otherwise, you'll get very weird ends.
Step 4
Frizzing
From straightening your hair, it can start to frizz a bit. Use a bit of gelatine again to actually defrizz your hair. You want it to be a power look, right? Not a just-got-off-my-bike hairdo.
Step 5
Finishing touch
Use plenty of shine spray as a finishing touch. No one can resist shine.
