If you receive an invitation to the Chanel No. 5 party, like your Amayzine friends did last week, then it's already a wild affair. But if your name is Coco, sorry, but your heart does an extra leap, what am I saying, a sprint. Then it starts beating even faster because then comes the hair, make-up, and outfit stress.
Chanel is classic, so I owe it to Gabrielle to keep my make-up classy and of course only use Chanel products. Oui oui, madame! I'm emphasizing my lips today, so I'm keeping the rest calm. I'm using the powder foundation because it's easy to touch up and fits in my bag. On top of that, I'm definitely applying a blush. For my eyes, I'm using the volumizing mascara that also separates my lashes very nicely. Furthermore, I'm only applying a eyeliner . I recently bought this beautiful dark red/brown Jeanne lipstick. Really nice specimen because it's a bit creamier, so you won't end up with a dried-out prune mouth at the end of the evening. It's an absolute eye-catcher, so you don't need anything else. Just make sure to use a lip pencil because this prevents your lipstick from bleeding and you can secretly fake fuller lips too. Hehe.
I really swoon over this woman, who doesn't? So I want Giseles Chanel hair too. For that, I first had my hair blow-dried for volume and then I made a side part myself. I create a small quiff that I spray with hairspray.
Chanel is black or white. And as much as I love rainbows, I also love the little black dresses, of which I have plenty hanging in my closet. It doesn't have to be expensive, just look but.
Arriving at a Chanel party without a Chanel detail is like Carrie Bradshaw in flat shoes: she can pull it off, but something is missing. That's why I'm so crazy about my Amayzinners, who just lend me Chanel earrings. Isn't that sweet?
The party itself was incroyable. A fantastic canal house (the old Odeon) was transformed into a real Chanel Maison, with one room sweeter than the other (all smelling of No. 5, of course). And if you arrive with Chanel temporary tattoos, champagne, and too danceable beats, you've already got me. Did I care at the end of the evening how I looked? Nah.
