It's almost October. And October is breast cancer month. To raise awareness for breast cancer, there are extra activities throughout the country, but now a very nice event is also being organized in Amsterdam. House of Beauty. A house, the Beurs van Berlage, will be transformed into an indoor festival where the most beautiful beauty brands on earth will find a place.

On October 11, it will happen, then House of Beauty will take place. And it promises to be grand, beautiful, and special. Because the most beautiful brands will gather there. Think Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Smashbox, and M.A.C Cosmetics. They will offer inspiring makeup tutorials, heavenly spa treatments, hand massages, and beauty workshops. Of course, there is a price attached to that, but it goes directly to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

Now I find all of this really incredibly important. I have experienced it up close and therefore know how important it is to not only have nice people around you but also to be well provided with knowledge, information, and the best research. And that requires money. A few years ago, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. It came very suddenly, but fortunately, she caught it early and it could be treated well. As a family, we did not sit back and sulk, because we wanted to get everything out of life because of this. There are good things, but also less pleasant things that come with it. In hindsight, this period has also been quite heavy and sad.

Now I just want to make one appeal

But well. We can do something about that nasty disease. We are all affected by it, but it is good that we become more aware of it. That is going to happen. October 11, therefore, at the Beurs van Berlage. This way we pause, think about it, contribute, and let ourselves be pampered a little.

Now I just want to make one appeal. Together with three other beauty vloggers, we are going to spam you all with all this important stuff, and of course, there will also be a collection box. Now I would love to walk by all your 200,000 houses to ring the bell for a few euros, but of course, I will never manage that before October 11. My request is to go to the site and donate something in my collection box. In mine of course, because even though it is not a competition at all and I have the best intentions for everything and everyone, it would be nice if Amayzine’s collection box is full. I promise you, it will go to a good cause. So do it. Me, but probably also a lot of women who have been affected by this terribly nasty disease. My thanks are already a thousandfold.
