Amayzine

That you can both have a very different kind of love for beauty is proven by opposites and Amayzine’s beauty editors Coco & Josselin. While one screams ‘full and striking’, the other says ‘subtle and small’. Glamorous glitter vs all day pink. Which nail polish would you choose?

Glitter vs pink nail polish

Coco: “My oh so stylish grandma always said: “Your hands are your business card.” A business card with some glitter embellishment sticks much better than a standard thing that everyone has? I rest my case...”

Coco has selected three lovely polishes that leave a party on your nails:

  1. Comet in the Sky by O.P.I. works as if a comet has exploded on your nails. This topcoat is perfect for leaving a fun and colorful accent on your base nail polish. Dark gray is particularly suitable for this.
  2. Do you have a gala or another glamorous event and are you wearing black, for example, then use the Tropical Vernis à Ongles by M.A.C. It leaves a beautiful deep bronze coat. This way, you get hands that are so beautiful to kiss!
  3. Summer is in the air! With this topcoat Eclosion by Dior, you’ll have original and cheerful hands in no time. It can actually go over any nail polish, but is most fun with a yellow base color. Nails that make the birds sing. The men might like it too.

Josselin: “When Coco came here on the first day, she had purple nail polish with disco glitters. I thought it looked quite nice on her, but if I had it myself, I would cringe every day. It’s a bit too disco for me. Besides, I always fiddle with my nails and half-chipped purple nail polish doesn’t look very neat. I stick to nudes. They match every outfit, give an instant polished look, and are also easy to touch up.”

The three polishes from Josselin that keep your nails always looking neat:

  1. A stunningly beautiful shade of pink that only needs one coat and immediately provides a fresh summer color. The brush is really of perfect width, so applying nail polish has never been easier. Color: Suzi Shops & Island Hops, €13.90, O.P.I.
  2. The new collection from Essie is called Cashmere Matte. It provides an extremely soft result. Not in terms of feel, but in terms of color, of course. And a tiny subtle shine. Nothing overpowering, just incredibly beautiful and chic. Color: Just Stitched, €9.99, Essie
  3. Okay, I personally think I can categorize this one as nude. A fresh color that makes you look a little bit tanner right away. Color: Peach of Cake, €11.99, Sally Hansen
