For Valentine's
Opinions are quite divided here about Valentine. Lies is anti (you probably suspected that) Jet is pro (same) and I float somewhere in between. Always nice to pamper your love, or to be pampered, but rose petals and a heart of tea lights I also find too silly for words. So men; we expect something more creative from you and before you panic blindly, I’ll give a gift suggestion.
Marlies Dekkers (the woman who makes the very best bras, just ask my colleague) has designed a collection for the fashionable feminist. A princess from Indian poetry, Mirabai, inspired her for this. Mirabai lived a long, long time ago, but was a powerhouse of her time. A princess who must have worn a rosary to accentuate her beauty and who let the beads slide through her hands to, when things didn’t go well, keep her strength.
The collection envelops you in a feminine mood. The rosary adorns the décolletage and derrière and gives your self-confidence a little boost. If you needed that at all, of course.
Especially for Valentine's Marlies Dekkers has an extra assignment for you; Dare to kiss. Because she literally comes onto our skin with her designs, she embraces our body, our shapes. Her lingerie comes to life on you (or on me). And because it’s so beautiful to leave a trace on someone you love, Marlies challenges you to give love. And to kiss. No one has ever gotten worse from that, after all.
