NEW YORK REPORT

May learns new words

Although I have been to New York quite often, every time I learn new words and terms. Not always very fun, but always entertaining. Last year, ‘obsessed’ was the word of Fashion Week and this summer everything that was even a little special got the label ‘epic’ or ‘historic’ attached to it.

Helemaal Chanel

I fear that this is a personally invented phrase for me (just like ‘you're completely Chanel-soaked’) by one of the nicest Cipriani waiters at the Victoria Beckham show. The dress, bag, and earrings were from my favorite label, so this term didn't come out of nowhere.

I will continue. On to new adventures and of course new words.
