From December sixth, the radio here is always set to Sky Radio. And occasionally we throw in a Mariah Carey song ourselves, which is always nice. Just like ‘Last Christmas’. And then I always immediately want that hair of the girl from the clip. You know, that dark bob with curls.
Here are my top 5 maybe forgotten and of course a bit cheesy Christmas songs.
1. It’s the most wonderful time of the year – Andie Williams
2. ‘Baby please come home or ‘All I want for Christmas is you’ by Michael Bublé. Actually, everything by Michael Bublé is good. His Christmas album is by far the most listened to album in ages and he leaves a laughing Céline Dion (rightly so) and Mariah Carey behind.
3. ‘Sleigh ride’ by The Carpenters. So refined and beautiful.
4. ‘Merry little Christmas’ by Frank Sinatra. Some things just cannot be surpassed.
5. ‘It’s gonna be a cold cold Christmas’ by Dana. And then immediately cry.
