HOW TO PANTY
That remains the big question
The panty. The final word has not yet been said about it. I must also reluctantly admit that I have somewhat reconsidered my initial anti-panty stance (read that here).
Once I thought that you either had to walk bare-legged (-3 degrees was no excuse) or you had to put your little legs in a thick stocking. Liesbeth thought that was just black-pedaled legs. Hmm.
In the meantime, I have thoroughly examined the panty issue and, of course in consultation with fashion director Simone, I have come to the following final conclusion.
1. The thin panty
Is allowed, even thin, but then it is nice if there is something of a design in it. This is life-threatening, because a fantasy panty is Really Not Allowed. I recently wore one with a seam at the back under a long flowing skirt. I find that very nice, but if there had been a tight pencil skirt on top, it would have been terribly vulgar. It requires precision.
2. Sock in your pump
I am a bit done with being cold, so I wish for a little sock for my foot. I don't find a thicker black panty very nice, as it gives a bit of a Mickey Mouse effect to the shoes, and a skin-colored panty is out of the question. But a fishnet pattern is the ideal solution. And under your jeans, a panty sock can definitely be worn. We won't tell your sweetheart... (just make sure to take off your stockings first and then put on your pants, okay? That prevents Big Problems in the bedroom).
3. The thick panty
I especially love it with a tough look. For example, when you wear a sweater dress. Perfect if you wear a boot because you almost wear this thick stocking like pants. Be careful with a colored shoe, because then you quickly get that Minnie Mouse effect again.
4. The open-toe shoe
There are indeed many trendy girls who wear an open-toe shoe with a panty. I find that tricky. Especially if you can still see such a protective piece of the panty at the front of the toe. That really can't be done. There are also pantys with an open space for the toe, but I still find that difficult when the rest of your foot is wearing a panty. So I just wouldn't do that. If you really want an open-toe shoe, then you'll just have to be cold. Or you save them for warmer days, that can of course also be done.
