God guys, this weekend was quite something with a very, very special encounter. But first things first. On Saturday, I started in the showroom of Tamara Mellon, the former COO and co-founder of Jimmy Choo. So we could expect a lot of nice footwear (which was indeed the case) but also the clothing collection is to die for.

My favorite was a black suede fringe skirt with a fluorescent yellow inside, really that should be sent to my house immediately. Furthermore, a lot of ultra-feminine dresses, silky soft tops, and bright red showstoppers that will undoubtedly grace many red carpets.

After that, I meet my friend Sander from Harper’s Bazaar at a tiny terrace that we completely fill with bread, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and orange juice. I always forget to eat here and if we had our Jet in New York who made sure the kitchen was always filled with delicious food, I have been here for almost 5 days now and there is exactly one can of diet cola in the fridge and nothing else. Around 2:00 PM, I keep wondering why I feel so weak and then I realize that I haven't eaten anything yet. Anyway, Saturday was a grand brunch because something very exciting was going to happen that evening.

But first we walk to the Grand Palais where the Mugler show took place. Sander picks up Cécile (Narinx) here and I head home. But first, I run into photographer David Nyanzi who is capturing De Jas. That thing is also an incredible success here, by the way.

Okay, so something exciting was going to happen. On Saturday evening, I had a dinner from Samsung and the day before I received an email stating that the opportunity had arisen to interview Doutzen Kroes before the dinner. Doutzen. Kroes. Honestly, I didn't know how quickly I had to reply with YES YES YES YES.

So off I went. With trembling knees in the taxi to the George V hotel, one of the most beautiful hotels in the city where a room starts at a hefty 1000 bucks per night. Cara Schiffelers from Grazia and I are the only ones allowed to speak to Doutzen and when Cara is done, it's my turn. The big door opens and there she is, Doutzen. Honestly, it sounds so childish and predictable but she is so otherworldly beautiful. And not just her appearance, but also the way she moves, the way she looks out of her eyes. Okay, I sound like a lovesick teenager but come on, we are talking about Doutzen here.

She is very nice and you can read the interview tomorrow here on the site. Afterwards, we move to another room where the latest Samsung S6 is presented. Lily Donaldson is there, Carine Roitfeld, Peter Dundas, Gigi Hadid, Jared Leto – it’s quite a parade of stars. And also Dutch press, besides Cara, also Fiona Hering from Vogue, so it’s all very cozy.

We take a seat at the table where the phones are presented and to be honest, they look great.

Handsome men in white come to stand behind us to showcase the phones. I say, pretty good.

A fun gadget is that there is a special selfie button on it. Just in case I have another Olivia or Doutzen moment, you know.

Afterwards, I go with Fiona Hering and Marije Goekoop from Vogue to grab a small bite around the corner because the dinner was indeed very nice and cozy, but not particularly filling.

Then it's Sunday, time for the Kenzo show, where my friend David was again and took another photo of my outfit.

The show is truly unbelievable. A gigantic moving set, insane looks, and wonderful music. I might even make a separate post about this because it was très incroyable.

Afterwards, I drink tea with Sander from Kenzo cups and then we go look for food again. By the way, there was a marathon in Paris on Sunday which made the streets full of sweaty athletes. By the way, I walk here 24/7 on 11cm heels so I think I can consider myself a kind of athlete too.

Then I hurry home because cameraman Sacha is in the country! We are going to see if all the lessons he learned in New York are still in his head.

Our first stop is the John Galliano show, together with my friend Cara. Outside, David is shooting again and he parks me against a tree with the instruction to play on my phone and especially to pretend I don't see him. So. Quite awkward, I can tell you, but it does yield nice pictures.

So, and then it's over, kudos to the readers who are still present. Sacha and I look for a heated terrace, order wine and food, and then roll home for a little editing and especially, to go to bed on time. Until tomorrow!
