Pimp your denim jacket
You probably have one lying around, such an old denim jacket that you will never wear again. It might even date back to the ‘90s and the model is monstrous. All the better, because we’re going to throw it through the wash.
What do you need?
- Scissors
- Safety pins
- Clothing paint. I chose gold and white.
I’m crazy about personalized things, so that’s what we’re going to do. Keep your tools ready, here we go!
1. Cut
Those sleeves have to go, chop chop. This jacket turned blazer can now be worn over a long dress or a loose white T-shirt. I’ll also cut some other holes in it nonchalantly, which I’ll then fray a bit.
2. Pin it up
I’ll attach the safety pins to the sleeves. It can also go through the cut holes. Be creative.
3. Paint step number one
As a true artist, I spray my jacket with gold paint. I then spread it out and let it dry for half an hour.
4. Paint step number two
Okay, I have quite a writable name, I must admit. But you can also personalize your jacket with any name. Or use your abbreviation. I actually wanted to go for Mademoiselle, but that was too long.
