Creatieve veranderingen

– your home styled differently in no time –

It doesn't have to be so difficult and expensive to give your home a different twist. There's no need to throw everything out the window and bring in all new stuff right away. No, it can simply be done with some small adjustments. Now, those adjustments don't have to be very drastic, because you don't need to tell me that sometimes you're already tired of something after three weeks and want to start the whole routine over again. That's why here are some tips with which you can very easypeasy make your home look like new .

Collages always do well. Pinterest is full of creative and inspiring images, so I say; pin and print. Or just tear out the most beautiful fashion productions from the magazines and use them to wallpaper your wall. Not really, of course, but just with a double-sided tape on the back. When you get tired of it or the season is over, you won't immediately take the whole wall down.

The most beautiful photos get framed. Now you don't have to drill holes all over your wall to give those frames a place, just put them on the floor. As if you are a gallery. Looks much cooler and then you can also switch them around. You can occasionally shuffle them a bit and it all feels new again.

I understand that this tip might come a bit early after the Easter weekend, but often Christmas ornaments, Easter decorations and other decorations are so nice that it's a shame to put them in a box after just one weekend to unpack them a year later. So just hang them on a branch or on a hook in your home and you'll enjoy them much longer.

A little lamp or a candle is sometimes more for coziness than a huge change in the house, but you can also make your lights a styling element and then it gets talked about very differently. For example, I have this light garland at home that, lacking a garden, really needed a spot in the living room. And it now hangs neatly over a cabinet. When I'm done with it, it just goes back in a box until the garden is finally there.

Indeed, those yellow-green-blue-purple-pink garlands, you hang those up for birthdays. Stylish garlands, you can leave them hanging all year round. And it doesn't have to be all over the room, it can just be neatly taped to the wall.

So I'm really fond of tapes and stickers because it's not so permanent. You can use them to stick those cool collages, but you can also make artworks with them. Saves you quite a bit of time repainting a wall because it didn't turn out to be a straight line after all.

My colleague Daniëlle thought it was a cool idea to write her daughter's name really big on the wall. I think it's a fantastic idea too, but quite intense. Because what if you don't write neatly or you mess up with the paint? Seems way too exciting to me. Storage bags are a sublime idea then. You can store a lot of clutter in them and they look a lot cozier when there's a nice text on them.
