5 little beauty tricks

that will make all the difference

Do you switch into auto pilot in front of the mirror every morning? Right, well then you know it’s time for a change. Jotting off to the hairdresser might be a bit too drastic but there are a few simple tricks you can use without messing up your entire morning ritual.

1.

New parts

This is the easiest one; change the spot you part your hair. It won’t change your hair color, no need for a bucket of bleach nor scissors for that matter; just a comb and that’s it. Self-willed or uncooperative hair can be blow-dried into shape (okay this does take some more time) or just go for a parting in the middle. Believe me, it looks totally different.

2.

Put your best foot forward

Feet are usually forgotten and stowed away in sneakers (or wellies, speaking for me here). But hey, roll those feet through the sand for a good scrub and throw in a little polish to make them look pretty and proper. And then wear open shoes. Normally feet are forgotten, the prodigal child, but be ensured, people notice.

3.

Perfume

Use a different perfume. I alter between outfits. When wearing light colors I go for a fresh crisp fragrance (think Chanel Chance eau Tendre of Miss Dior), but when wearing black I go for Chanel Exclusives Les Beige of J’adore. It’s a luxury thing but it makes you less predictable and gives you a different luminosity.

4.

Different lookie

Make-up might seem the easiest way to change your look but it’s also the most drastic. If you usually go for the natural look and show up with smoky eyes you can bet people will notice. To tune down the hysterics and still look like you it’s best to choose for two changes at a time. For example: a color on the nails where you usually go for nudes and a poppy color on the lips.

5.

Matt maintenant

If you usually go for shine go matt and vice versa. You can keep all colors the same but a different texture creates a huge change in your appearance.
