sex with your coworker

Mike and Rachel in the photo above from the TV show Suits are having a very steamy love affair, they spent hours on end keeping it on the DL. Cause a bit of love at the office, there ain't no boss who approves of that. Why? Love and sex always make things more complicated cause when people break up, you're bound to have awkward and annoying moments at the office. You will suffer. Your work will suffer. And your boss will be anything but amused.

But apparently research from Jobbird shows that a quarter of the working folk has a hard time seeing the difference between work and private life. 12% of the people who participated in the research said to have had sex with a colleague, or at least to have fooled around a bit. 15% are dating someone at the company they work for, and 8% sticks to flirting.

They make it seem as though these numbers are huge, but nothing could be further from the truth. Without giving away too many details, Amayzine and PilotStudio (our lovely neighbours) have a few lovey dovey relationships going on. And I can recall that at my previous jobs there were quite a few amicable relationships among colleagues too.

Can you blame them though? You see them 5 days a week. And if you add a bit of alcohol into the mix, things can always get (sexually) heated. So I think that 12% is bullsh*t. I think the number should be way up there.
