11X Sigh, why does this happen?
Believe me, you recognize this
Things that make you want to hit yourself or things that just happen and make you so tired that you’d rather throw yourself far away from here. Things that are also so typically you and that just don’t change easily. I’m sure you recognize a few of these. I’ve written them all down from my own experience.
– Going to the bathroom in a restaurant or wherever and only realizing after peeing that the toilet paper is out.
– Walking to the supermarket to buy toilet paper for home and then coming back with a bag full of groceries, but no toilet paper.
– Losing everything.
– Always doing things just a bit too early after painting your nails.
– Stepping out of your house and realizing your bike is parked somewhere completely different than in front of your door.
– Standing at the checkout and realizing your debit card is still in your running pants.
– When you’re eating something really delicious (on your bike or something) and that last piece falls on the ground.
– When you’re doing something very complicated with hot tea, laptop, bag, carrying everything, already thinking you’re being clumsy and then it indeed goes wrong. Dammit.
– When you’ve lost something of someone else’s and you’re pretty sure you won’t find it back.
– Realizing you actually smell a bit under your armpit and still have a whole day ahead.
– When you want to put a wash in the washing machine and only then see that there’s still another wash (from a few days ago) in it. Oops, forgot.
– When you just step out the door and your phone dies.
– Intentionally not taking something from the supermarket because you’re sure you still have it at home. Not.
– Forgetting someone’s birthday.
