THINGS WE LOVE

Nice that the sun occasionally peeks through the clouds, but actually this weather is just really difficult. Very sunny, very cold, cloudy, a hail shower that suddenly comes up or a snow shower that occurs in midsummer. Nothing would surprise me more, although I find it all quite tricky. Clothing-wise, that is, because what on earth do you wear? But also planning-wise, because what can you possibly do on a day? The weather can change here in the Netherlands so quickly that you think you’re leaving the house in the morning without a coat while by four o'clock you’d prefer to be wrapped in your scarf at the office. The solution; a trench coat. I think it’s a classic. An always-good jacket that never misses the mark. Perfect over a dress with bare legs and if you’re in jeans; with a good pair of heels underneath it’s also not entirely wrong. The perfect in-between jacket, then. I say: indispensable in the Netherlands.
