YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS IN YOUR CLOSET NOW
7 x stylish into winter
After I have supported, sighed, and complained forty-seven times that summer is over, I suddenly notice a bubbling love for autumn rising within myself and I start craving cardigans and high boots and warm dresses. And red wine and chocolate of course, but that's another story. I gather the 7 items that make you completely current and super trendy.
Or at least over the knee. I am so happy with this trend. Firstly because I already have them (saves a few hundred euros) and secondly because it's such an easy look. Just throw a dress over it and you're done.
And preferably pleated. You can get one from Gucci, but you can also buy a basic model from J.Crew. I'm seriously going to buy it this afternoon. If the schedule allows. And my credit card.
Classic yet sexy. I like it best with a collar and a ruffle but I do want it to be a bit transparent so you can see your bra. And if you do that in a nice leopard print, you make it all a bit funky again.
How funny it works in fashion. We all see a hundred shows and yet everyone suddenly wants the same bag. Once it was the Boy from Chanel, then the Céline, then ‘a’ Wang, then Proenza (the love of Lies) and now it's this Gucci. Just save up a bit.
Skinny in the corner, the flared is your pants. For heaven's sake, make sure it's long, otherwise it looks terrible. Want to know what shoes you wear underneath? You need to here click here. Want to know what you wear on top? I'll get to that now.
The collar is completely back and you can wear it very well on those flared (or on that leather skirt of course) if you want it a bit more casual. Collars can go under a cardigan, a jacket, a dress. In the latest collection from Claes Iversen, collars were really a fixed theme. By the way, he has them in his ready-to-wear (so affordable) line.
Think to the ground, think waist, think lace or print, think bow around your neck, think a lot, feminine and super sexy.
