Only a few more days until we've officially set foot into December's festive month. Our turkey's and stuffing have been gobbled down, and we're now on the hunt for the perfect looks to finish off the old year and to start off the new. Leave it to &Other Stories to think of a cool new way to present their new collection. They collected the most inspiring women in the Netherlands (we've decided to stick to our home country this round, but don't worry, &Other Stories has numerous inspiring women all over the globe) and suited them up in their party collection.

I think it's safe to say that &Other Stories is my favourite brand and they couldn't have come up with a better way to introduce their collection. They transformed their Stockholm studio (their home base) into a festive field covered in wrapping paper, colored ribbons, silver accessories and a ton of ideas for gifts. And the guests? A bundle of inspirational women with interesting perspectives, languages and opinions to encourage others to grow and become inspired. Eveline Hall, Bodil Schrewelius and Helene Billgren were a few of the captivating women who were invited.

So some of the names might not ring a bell, but they will now forever be engraved into your memory. They have all opened so many doors for all the creative souls on the planet and are officially some of the Netherlands’ biggest style icons.

Helene Billgren (artist and scenographer) is a loyal and colourful woman. She has a grocery list tattooed onto herself (done back in 1997) and loves dancing to the right music.

Viktor Lazlo (singer and writer) is not only a passionate person, she's empathetic, smart and sensitive; a combination of many dimensions. Strong, witty and proficient.

Cristina Morozzi (journalist, author and art director) is passionate, curious and trendy. Being a sophisticated and worldly are her favourite characteristics. Her style of writing and her good taste adorn her.

Harriet Calo (style literary) is a red head with a free spirit. She always wears her mothers pearls and deep down feels like a complete rockstar. A lively person with a poetic heart.

Liesbeth in ’t Hout (director of the Dutch Fashion Council) has humour and an inexhaustible perseverance. She only buys things she randomly bumps into and it screams out her name. Her insights are admirably good and her method of thinking is one a lot of people can learn from.

Eveline Hall (model, singer, ballet dancer and Las Vegas showgirl) is extremely ambitious, has a good head on her shoulders and a sincere heart. Traveling and languages are two of her favourite things. She is a force of nature.

Bodil Schrewelius (journalist) is a curious and strong headed connoisseur with a weak spot for Paris. She is one of the few people on this Earth who has had a camel named after them in the United Arab Emirates. She captivates people with her words and stimulates our fantasies.

Jans Possel (director at a cultural institution called Mediamatic) is a dedicated woman with a secret mayonnaise addiction. She loves cycling, eating and drinking.
