THE FUNNIEST ON THE WEB

For a few months now, my life has become significantly funnier, because for a few months now, De Gladiool has been online. Degladiool.nl I must say, because it is a website if that wasn't clear yet, and from the very beginning, my favorite website.

As a result, I find myself laughing out loud a few times a day behind my laptop and then becoming that very annoying person who says: “Yeah no, it’s hard to explain, you just have to read it” and then especially bombarding Jet repeatedly with links. De Gladiool is a site that – no wait, I’ll let them tell it themselves, pay attention: “De Gladiool is a digital magazine that you can read when you’re bored, for example on the bus or while someone is telling you about their weekend.” So.

Furthermore, I have to be careful not to start a teenage praise song for the creators behind it, namely Marten Mantel (writer, journalist, and the funniest man on Twitter), Carmen Felix (among others, the one we have to thank on our bare knees for creating my other favorite site, Lol Dutch People) and Sander Roks (creates the funniest and best stories for Vice, with my personal favorite his ode to Christine van der Horst). It comes down to the fact that I love and cherish almost every sentence they produce as if it were a baby animal, and you know how much I love baby animals.

Let’s do my favorite articles from the last month and then you can leave Amayzine.com for a bit to check out De Gladiool. But do come back, okay?
