THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND FUN CONCEPT STORES

When I go shopping, I usually skip the big commercial streets. I do those online. No, I shop at concept stores, that's what really makes me happy. You find the coolest, newest items here and usually the store and window display themselves are also mood boosters. So here it is, my favorites in a row.

Everything in the store is ecological, vegan, and fairly made. Now that sounds indeed quite boring, but it is not at all. You really find the most beautiful beauty products, blankets, bags, and who knows what else here. But all of that in a really cool building and with an even cooler interior.

One of my favorites is Restored. Every time I go there, it seems like a new little shop. The store itself is very bright and fresh, and you actually want everything, but really everything. It was founded to provide a platform for young designers. They still do that, but there are also some established names among them now. Not annoying at all. Or actually it is. Because you want to have everything.

If you are looking for the cutest accessory, then you go to Anna + Nina. The girls themselves are super nice and pretty (just for that reason you already want to buy everything in the store), but they have a lot of cute accessories from their own brand and also sell jewelry from Jewel Rocks and HOLST + LEE. Oh, and if you are shopping anyway... They also have plenty of beautiful things in the area of cooking and living.

A very poetic little shop, as the name suggests, but everything in a creative jacket. Clothing from People Tree, cards from Liekeland, and furniture from Craft Industry. And since I am a huge sucker for small, cute knick-knacks; they have those too.

Coisa, Eva Schreuder, Studio MHL, Twinklebird, and Susan Bijl can all be found in the shop of Olga Korstanje. Storm umbrellas hang from the ceiling and in old display cabinets, you find the most beautiful accessories. The counter, also such a terribly beautiful old thing, is the boundary between the store and the workshop. So you can sneak a peek at where she develops her own work.

It's quite a journey for me, otherwise I would really visit this concept store every week. Groningen has a really nice concept store. Walnut Mixstore Groningen sells various items from young designers. And young designers really make innovative things. So be careful.

It's not that Friday Next is new, but it is still a favorite. You can have divine lunches there, or drink the best cappuccino in the morning, but I never leave there empty-handed. While having lunch, I am already eyeing the whole store. Well, that’s what you get with brands like Studio MHL and Lammers & Lammers.
