RIP Bobbi Kristina
This week the world said good bye to Bobbi Kristina Brown. The 22 year old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown died last Sunday in a hospice in Atlanta, nearly six months after she was found unconscious in the bath. Bobbi Kristina’s funeral took place Saturday and she was buried beside her mother Whitney.
Coco’s having a baby
Ice-T (57) and his lovely wife Coco (35) are expecting their first child together. Coco had only stopped with the pill two months previously and wasn’t expecting to fall pregnant so soon. The proud wrapper told the press ‘BAM! I told her I could dial in twins if she wanted it.’ The couple are overjoyed and will reveal whether it is a boy or girl in the first episode of their upcoming reality show Ice Loves Coco.
No more Birkin
The 68 year old actress, Jane Birkin, who once was the inspiration for the most iconic Hermès bag ever made, no longer wants her name associated with the crocodile leather used for the production of the bag. The style icon made her statements as a result of a recent PETA documentary about the production of the Birkin bag, showing the skin being ‘cruelly’ removed from still living crocodiles. ‘I have asked Hermès Group to rename the Birkin until better practices responding to international norms can be implemented for the production of this bag,’ said Jane in a statement. Hermès has said: ‘Jane Birkin has expressed her concerns regarding practices for slaughtering crocodiles. Her comments do not in any way influence the friendship and confidence that we have shared for many years. Hermès respects and shares her emotions and was also shocked by the images recently broadcast.’ The company also stressed that the Texan crocodile farm featured in the documentary has no ties with the fashion company and that the hides they use do not come from there.
Gisele Bundchen visits plastic surgeon
Gisele Bundchen (35), one the highest paid supermodels in the world, was caught this week paying a visit to a plastic surgeon in Paris. The Brazilian had not intended on sharing the news with the world, attempting to go incognito to the clinic, disguised in a burka. However, she made the visit with her regular private driver, sister Rafaela and wore open sandals. A silly mistake as bare feet are prohibited in Islam. Even more so, wearing a burka is prohibited in France. The highly criticized charade was perhaps not the most well devised plan. There are various speculations as for her reasons from a bit of Botox for new breasts and eyelid surgery. It appears that even the prettiest girls need a little helping hand sometimes.
a new jenner
The Jenner clan has a new family member. Brandon Jenner’s girlfriend Leah (32) gave birth to their first daughter on 22nd July. Eva James Jenner, welcome to the family!
