– The clothing hanger –

For this little column, I have already been able to draw quite a few things, so every week I am sniffing around to see what is fun, important, and indispensable for me in life. Does everything come together beautifully in a. clothing hanger. But seriously. It sounds really silly and only like a pure necessity, but those things are actually the most fun and offer much more than just the necessary support for the most beautiful dress. I actually have a kind of fetish for hangers. So I bought a special hanger when.

my Kenzo sweater made its entrance into our home, because oh dear, something might happen to it, and a beautiful sweater deserves a beautiful hanger. Moreover, a new item is always allowed to hang outside the closet for a week to let it get used to the environment and serve as a sort of presentation item, so that means the hanger has to be just as nice and must add value to the interior. And those hangers can cost something, because a simple plastic example is not good for your entire wardrobe and won't do much good for the chic factor either. Hey, Zara Home, I'm just saying, at least you get something out of it. Furthermore, hangers also do very well outside the wardrobe. Last year, my Christmas tree consisted of all dry cleaning hangers that I neatly intertwined, giving it the shape of a tree. And I also find it really fun to curl a nice magazine around a hanger, making it more of a work of art than a litter box example.

So you see: a hanger is super multifunctional and indeed a necessity. A necessity to make life just a little bit more beautiful and fun.
