What to do about a bit of cellulite. I already find the word terrible. Here at the editorial office, we usually call it cellu. You might think, so what, almost every woman has it. They may be small fat deposits, but I swear to you, whether you are thick or thin, it actually doesn't have much to do with that. But it could also be that you would like to do something about it. I understand that too. I'm here for some tips. I have to work on it myself, I'll tell you. Together?
- A session of bikram yoga is said to be good for your cellu. Your blood circulation goes like a spear because of it. If you then also take a cold shower afterwards (after that warm yoga class), you are really well on your way.
- Moving is a must anyway. Cardio and weights if possible.
- Massage the area well, wherever it may be. It all has to do with good blood circulation, which needs to be stimulated, and with firm massaging (so not lightly) you help with that.
- There are all kinds of creams, and I only believe in them if you use them in combination with a lot of sports and massage. Birch oil is said to be a miracle remedy. Rub that stuff in well every morning and evening.
- Drink, drink a lot. And then not wine, but water and green tea.
- Do you smoke? Stop that. It has a big impact on the elasticity of your skin. Just so you know.
Then there are also a lot of cosmetic procedures, but I think it's a shame to spend your money on that. So exercise, eat green, drink plenty of water, and give the spots some extra attention now and then with a massage. And again, almost everyone has this problem. Even Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston, and probably also Victoria Beckham. I think so, right? Or I hope so.
