Travel

I'm going on a short trip and I'm taking with me in my too small bag…

They are so nice those weekend getaways. For a pittance, you're in Milan or even in Ibiza. Less nice is that you have to cram your entire wardrobe plus cosmetics into your tiny carry-on. If that bag happens not to fit in such a stupid frame, you suddenly pay for an extra suitcase and your trip becomes expensive anyway. So, especially for you, the best space-saving items in a row.

Facial wipes

Yes, we all have our own cleaning ritual, but you can really go two days without all those facial frills. Ready-made facial wipes take up zero space and are multi-functional. You can also quickly clean your nightstand, or something.

Dry shampoo

I've been a fan of dry shampoofor a while, because I prefer to wash my hair as little as possible. Not only better for my head, but also for the world.. Plus, you have more time in the morning, and this is exactly what you need on your short vacation. We can even skip our regular shampoo, conditioner, and hairspray. In dry shampoo there's a kind of talc powder that also provides volume. Three flies in one. Hooray.

Battery-operated straightener

I'm always struggling with those outlet converter things for my straightener. Because it can't be that this won't fit?? To also let my mental state completely relax on my weekend trip, I choose a straightener with a rechargeable battery that lasts 25 minutes. That means I can style for about twelve minutes a day. I suddenly realize that I don't know if that's good for my mental state... In any case, good for the mood of my travel companion, because I'll definitely be ready quickly.

BB cream

I'm not hiding it, I have huge bags under my eyes in the morning, dark bags to be precise. But how do I replace my entire disposable kit with just one product? Exactly, the answer is BB cream: a combination of day cream and foundation. It covers my entire face and for my bags, I apply a little extra, which I also let soak in a bit longer. Moreover, my skin gets a weekend off and can breathe a little better. Photos nowadays don't go online without a filter or two.

Monsters

Perfumeries are generous in handing out samples, but often manage to come up with a non-usable cream or an incredibly disgusting perfume. So next time you buy your fragrance, ask if they can pull a sample from the tester. If they make a fuss about it, just say it's a gift, then they have to. With such a tube, you can definitely last the whole weekend.
