The best mental coach apps on iPhone

We merge with our phone and there is of course a lot to say about that. Trend watchers predict that our hands will take on a different shape due to our swiping and messaging, and psychologists say that we look at each other 33 percent less because conversations are always interrupted by a phone update.

Our mobile addiction is dangerous in traffic (have you ever looked at that texting mass in traffic jams?) and we sleep worse because of the light and radiation that our phone emits in bed.

But, there is also good news. Because the mobile brings mental peace. If you download the right apps at least.

Moodtune

This app manages depression and anxiety. It is a game (fun, therefore) that maps out whether you are depressed or anxious and then offers solutions. It has been worked on for ten years by psychologists and mental coaches, so it is something, I think.

Personal Zen

Another game (with relaxing music) that aims to map and eliminate fears. Again with a whole bunch of experts, cognitive theories, and therapies.

Crisis Text Line

A kind of children's phone but then digital and for anyone who needs a listening ear and expert advice. A team of therapists is ready 24 hours a day to assist young adults online. All therapists have professional secrecy, so you can really let go.

Mood 24/7

In this app, you fill out a questionnaire every day that visualizes your mood and looks at what influences your mood and what you can do to go through life as cheerfully as possible.

Talkspace

Talkspace connects you with therapists who can help you in various ways. This app is not free. There is unlimited message therapy that costs 25 dollars, or you can choose thirty minutes of live video therapy for which you pay 29 dollars.

Maybe you prefer lying on the couch with doctor Rossi, but it is still nice that it exists.
