13 THINGS THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSING ON YOUR CHRISTMAS TABLE

Are you, like me, team decorate this Christmas season? And do you need some inspiration? Last week I already gave you some table decor dressing theme inspiration and this time I gathered the most beautiful table decorations for you. So it won't be the set table that is lacking this year. Because a good Christmas dinner naturally starts with a cozy table. Okay, and with this spicy chicken of course (ha ha). What should definitely not be missing on your table:

1. To spill on

Okay, here we go, step 1: Setting your table starts with a nice tablecloth. A crisp white always works well, but it's Christmas, so a little sparkle or shine is allowed. I really like this tablecloth and it will be on my table this weekend.

2. Against spills

To keep that nice tablecloth from above looking good, I put down a few coasters. For the little ones at our table (read: they don't quite understand the concept of a napkin yet).

3. Beautiful dishes

I have a weakness for beautiful dishes. Because good food tastes much better on a nice plate. I also prefer to stack with underplates so it looks like I'm in some luxury restaurant. It's all about the experience, right?.

4. To bring you some light

Candles should of course not be missing on your Christmas table. These cute candle holders immediately dress up your table and are also super fun for after the holidays.

5. Against wine stains

Well, see point 2. Not that the little ones will be drinking wine, but as the evening progresses and the wine flows freely, a drop can sometimes be spilled. These cute coasters protect your tablecloth from ugly wine and lemonade stains.

6. For the tastiest cheeses

You want to have a wooden board on your table. During dinner as a cheese board and the next morning to decorate your breads for Christmas breakfast.

7. Chic water

With this carafe, it's really not so bad to alternate your wine with a glass of water.

8. A nice glass of wine starts with the glass

If there's one thing I find important, it's a wine glass. It's a big turn-off when I get my wine in a sad little café glass at a restaurant. Then I ask to have the wine poured into a water glass. CAN'T IT BE DONE.

9. To cool your wine

Such a huge silver wine cooler looks very chic on the table. A small investment, but you'll have it for years, and your grandchildren will also enjoy it...

10. Cutting in style

I MUST have this cutlery on my table this Christmas. I'm going for the budget version because yes, the money is gone (just from Xenos, don't tell anyone).

11. Almost too cozy to use

Napkins. A must-have on your beautifully decorated table.

12. For an extra spread of butter

With this butter knife, you'll keep spreading. Because how cute is this? You want it. Even if you don't like butter.

13. Christmas crackers

Taken from my time in London and the USA, this Christmas tradition. Actually, this should not be missing on a traditional Christmas dinner. The best part is the anticipation, because homemade crackers are of course the most fun. But you really only do this if you have time to spare. Just add it to your shopping list. Cozy, right?
