5 UPCOMING FASHION BRANDS YOU ABSOLUTELY WANT TO KNOW IN 2016

Learn the names by heart so you can say “I told you so” throughout the entire Fashion Week period. Believe me, we will hear a lot from these upcoming designers in 2016:

Max Gengos

The charming Max from New York is already featured in several ‘designers to watch’ lists. His designs are known for their architectural silhouettes and artisanal fabrics that embrace ‘slow fashion’. Kylie Jenner was recently seen on the cover of Teen Vogue in one of his creations. Max, we are keeping an eye on you.

Self-Portrait

Yep, this is exactly the fashion label that has made you stop scrolling multiple times on the homepage of Net-A-Porter. It's the same label where Kirsten Stewart and Reese Witherspoon were recently seen on the red carpet. And expectations are high for the new year. Very nice: we can already order the special creations at Bijenkorf.
Monse

Respected fashion enthusiasts like Sarah Jessica Parker and Amal Clooney have of course already been seen in the yet-to-be-launched label. Designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim have previously worked with Oscar de la Renta. That promises a lot of good, I'm already going to stand in line.
Brandon Maxwell
And we absolutely want to see this. Brandon Maxwell, Lady Gaga's stylist, is launching his own fashion label this week. Brandon has ensured that Gaga leaves the crazy meat dresses at home from now on. And I am very grateful to him for that.

Lola + Lou
The Dutch Malou van den Broek and Tess van Zalinge will debut at the upcoming Amsterdam Fashion Week with the brands Lola + Lou (lingerie) and Tess van Zalinge (very colorful fashion). Yes, these ambitious women are simply showcasing two collections in a duo show, why not? Tess graduated from AMFI and was one of the designers of the first collection of MOAM for Hema. The collections will be shown on January 15 at 8:00 PM, very very curious!
