5x romantic in a cabin with Christmas

Now that King Winter is really on the way, I know how to turn off the whiny mode more often and see the benefits of the freezing cold. Heating on tropical mode, in my woolen cottage on the couch, a cozy cup pumpkin spice latte with it and Christmas jingles in the background.

Sinterklaas is almost starting his journey back to Spain, which means we can really start preparing for Christmas now. And I don't know about you, but sometimes I would like to skip the whole circus around Christmas for a year. Don’t get me wrong, I love the coziness. The coziness, yes. I'm not talking about those endless shopping lists, the visits to garden centers with half of the Netherlands, and the ridiculously long lines at Douglas. All ingredients that cause an acute burnout if you ask me.

Well, just put me in a log cabin. Together with a good book, a couple of candles, and a bottle of Petite Sirah. And yes, if a handsome man would like to hand me my bathrobe, that would of course complete my picture.
