Was it Anna Nooshin, was it still going to be Sylvie Meis or would Kim Feenstra be the new face of Hunkemöller? But the real face, or brand ambassador as she calls it, of Hunkemöller is Doutzen Kroes. “I’ve known Hunkemöller for longer than they’ve known me,” is one of the first things Doutzen said who is delighted to represent this Dutch brand.
There was champagne, a small exposition of the stunning campaign with all the photos made by Jouke Bos, there were sweets and a lot of interviews. Enter: six things Doutzen said that I’m sure you want to know.
You don’t plan sexy time
Or perhaps some people do, but Doutzen and her husband Sunnery just let it happen. Spontaneously. Unplanned romance is a lot sexier.
Legs are the best
If there was one thing Doutzen would label as the sexiest part of her body, she’s go for the legs. Although I’d say there’s nothing wrong with the rest of her body either, but still…
She feels sexy
In jeans, a white button up and a good pair of heels. And something sexy underneath that only you know you’re wearing…
Role model for her daughter
Doutzen sometimes struggles with always having to be the perfect version of herself. She wants to stimulate other women, not frustrate them, as well as wanting them to know that there’s so much more to life than just looks. So when she’s at home she always walks around with her hair up in a bun and no makeup on.
The cat and the hotshot
During the shoot in Rome there was a kitty that refused to leave the set. Doutzen was so obsessed with the little fur ball that she wanted nothing more than to take it home with her.
Two years of Doutzen
Doutzen and Hunkemöller will be dating for at least two years. The collection will be available in stores from October 31st onwards and the prices range between 14 to 44 euros. Guess that means we won’t be needing to fly to New York for our lingerie anymore…
