6 x no longer oversleep
Fortunately, it doesn't happen to me often, because I am an early bird. The earlier I get out of bed (it does take a bit of effort), the more I enjoy it. Before I step into the Amayzine office, I've already had an extensive breakfast, workout, and wardrobe session. And that means I can fully switch to relaxation mode after work. At least, that's what I try to do.
For those who sometimes sleep through an alarm in the morning (and starting the day like that seems super crappy to me), I have tips. Use them, and your boss will be happy again.
- Just a simple thing: turn your sound up to the max. Just a bit too loud, then you can't ignore it.
- Choose an annoying tone. No birds or the sound of waves. TATUTATUTATU, that's the kind of thing we need.
- Place your alarm clock far from your bed. Then you have to get up to turn that thing off. So you’re already up and can head straight to the shower. If you’re smart, at least.
- STOP SNOOZING.
- Drink two glasses of water before you go to sleep. Then you wake up with a full bladder and want to go to the toilet immediately. Ha! Staying in bed is not an option then.
- If you really oversleep too often, enlist other people to give you a wake-up call. But then this is really a serious matter, okay!
