6 X ULTRASTYLISH
IN YOUR COMFY SWEATER
You probably wear your sweater mainly nothing to do on the weekend, right?. With a pair of jeans underneath, sneakers, and you're good to go. But the sweater can really make an upgrade to your office and to the cocktail bar. Just keep an eye on this.
1. Choose a special model
Choose a sweater that is slightly shorter in the front than in the back, for example. Or one that is asymmetrical, meaning it is shorter on the left side and ends in a point on the right side. I also think it's nice if the sweater has a not too tight hem at the bottom, allowing you to easily tuck the front into your pants or skirt while leaving the back hanging loose. That immediately gives a fashionable effect.
2. This is how it can go to work
Then I wouldn't wear the sweater with jeans because that radiates a lot of casualness. At work, you can combine the sweater with leather pants or a leather skirt.
3. Sweater = heels
Because a sweater always exudes that woolly, comfortable, and cuddly vibe, you really have to wear heels with it.
4. Big on top, slim on the bottom
The bigger the sweater, the slimmer you should make the bottom. With a bulky knitted piece, make sure to wear nice skinny leather pants. If your sweater is very fine and fitted, you can wear a wider pair of trousers or a nice flowing skirt underneath.
5. This is how you jazz up that wool cardigan
A cardigan can quickly make you look like a grandma. So, put a nice, narrow belt around it or make sure there's a nice crispy blouse underneath to downgrade the cuddliness a bit.
6. Important supporting role for the vest
The oversized trend is completely in (just look at what Alessandro Michele has created for Gucci). You can embrace it in an over-the-top way by wearing a wool vest under your cardigan (or under your jacket). Underneath, add a blouse with a big bow, and the cool granny look is all yours.
