9 habits that make you happier and healthier

It only takes very small things, but even those we sometimes forget. We forget ourselves, because we are only busy with our work and with others. Sometimes taking a moment to pause is really necessary. Then you have gone too far, you are just tired and notice that you are not being very nice to your loved ones. You should actually anticipate those kinds of situations. It’s difficult, I know. I give you nine habits that you can apply to become happier and healthier. Goodbye grumpiness stress head. And really do it, okay!

1. Make sure you are occasionally home alone, put on your favorite music, buy a stack of magazines or a book, and turn off your phone. Let's say: one hour a week.

2. Focus on one thing at a time. Make a to-do list and work through everything systematically.

3. Don't panic if you can't finish something. You can't do anything about it at that moment anyway. And... usually, it's not a disaster.

4. Believe in yourself. That sounds airy-fairy and it is. But it is important to remember that the body achieves what the mind believes.

5. Practice mindfulness.

6. Exercise at least once a week.

7. Do little work in the evenings. Close your computer and try to relax a bit. That means working hard during the day.

8. Sometimes call your friends instead of just texting them. Or even better: make plans. Even if it's just for one cup of tea.

9. Buy flowers once for yourself.
