The ride that changed May's life

If I wanted to take a test drive in the sparkling new Renault Talisman. The Talisman goes from 0 to 100 in 7.6 seconds. I pressed the accelerator and the car indeed glided from the ring Amsterdam towards Schiphol. I didn't feel it shifting, right? That was correct. It was due to the dual clutch where when you shift, two gears are engaged simultaneously. At least, that's how I understood it. It all felt very smooth.

Of course, the car also had cruise control. Dude, I didn't expect anything less. But also an adaptive cruise control that keeps an eye on the car in front of you and ensures that a safe distance is maintained. I set it and drove into the Schiphol tunnel.

Now I must confess that I suffer from a slight form of tunnel phobia. Fear that something will happen and I will never get out, that kind of thing. But now, for the first time, I had no issues at all. I only had to steer, the pace was determined by the Renault Talisman for me. I had set it nicely at 100 kilometers per hour, so I could park my fear of tickets as well.

When we took the exit back to the studio, my co-driver turned on the seat massage as a bonus, and then I really never wanted anything else and never wanted to go home.
