Whether you're getting married in a big way in your own city, heading abroad with a small group, or celebrating an intimate wedding within the Netherlands: there's always some ‘drama’. Drama about who is invited or not, drama about how it works with ‘plus ones’, or drama among friends... A small reassurance: I've never spoken to a couple that didn't have any drama surrounding their wedding. Tip: stay calm, don't stress too much, and remember: it's YOUR big day and therefore YOUR rules! But besides that, Jon and I want our guests to experience the most epic weekend of their lives... We're both quite the pleasers, so I'm busy coming up with all sorts of goodies and activities to give our guests an unforgettable time. For all the ladies, I had to provide a little makeup kit with my favorite items from Pupa and a lovely nail polish set from Caption. Because if there's one thing that makes all women quite happy, it's a nice goodie bag.

And I had been thinking for months that I absolutely wanted to place a ‘first aid kit’ on all the pillows with the much-needed supplies for the day after (with paracetamol and a bottle of water, you can take on the world again...). But how do you package something like that nicely? Coincidentally, I ran into a colleague who is getting married in the exact same weekend in the same area in Italy, also in a dress from Bloomfeld (what are the odds...) and she tipped me to terattentie.nl. Again, such a ridiculously fun site with goodies for your wedding. I immediately found the personalized bags I was looking for, but unfortunately, it didn't stop there... Photos for in your champagne glass, name tags made of gold wire, and the coolest hangers ever with our names on them. The saying ‘You only get married once’ no longer applies, so it's time to make some choices. I've assured Jon that these are really the very last decoration purchases and that our wedding will be a lot less fun without these items... But from now on, I really need to hold myself back on all the amazing ideas and start enjoying our Big Day!
