No-Bake Chocolate Cake

It's a bit different, but certainly not less delicious. The fun and tasty thing about this cake is that you can't overeat it. The nuts in this cake make you feel incredibly satisfied, and you're just fine after one piece of cake. Well okay, okay, after two pieces then. Don't worry, you taste an incredible amount of chocolate. I'll give you the recipe. It's super easy: the only thing is that you need some patience while it sets in the fridge. So start a day in advance.

Somewhat healthy, raw chocolate cake

This is what you need

For the base

100 grams of almonds

250 grams of fresh dates (preferably large and soft, such as Medjool dates)

For the chocolate
100 grams of raw cacao

160 ml maple syrup

200 ml melted coconut oil

The juice and zest of two oranges

Here’s how to make it

Start by making the base. Grind the almonds finely in a food processor. Then add the dates (without pits!). Mix until a sticky dough forms. Press the dough into a cake tin and place it in the freezer.

To make the chocolate topping, pour all the ingredients into the food processor and blend until smooth. Let it mix for at least 5 minutes. Pour the mixture over the base and let it set in the fridge overnight. Decorate the cake with orange zest and serve.
