Cocktail for my clothing

Just as I have an extensive collection of perfumes (I can get wild about a new creation every time, and greedy, that too) and creams, I also have a cabinet full of detergents and fabric softeners. For whites, for colors, for blacks, for wool, for delicate fabrics… Each piece of clothing has its own ‘drink’. My mother, who often does laundry for me (and has just as much of a laundry fetish as I do), always updates me first when she has a new find regarding detergents.

But ha, now I’ve actually outsmarted her. It took some effort, I must say, because I sat down with the company Robijn (also known as the royal supplier of my laundry detergents walk-in). Every September, they launch a special edition. A product (and bottle) that embraces their love for clothing and the fashion of the moment, and I have the task/the pleasure/the honor to design the bottle this year. Or well, design, Robijn has a fantastic team for that in London, but I whispered some current trends to them that they built upon.

After many style meetings and mood boards, it turned out that botanical and rosé were the trends that could be best translated into the bottle. And now I have no less than four beauties sitting on my desk. Already, and they won’t be in stores until Monday. So, now I’ve even outsmarted my mother.

Can you already guess what they will look like? The sneak peek is in the image. To be continued..
