COUTURE CROISSANT

So I am really fond of croissants. I prefer to have them for breakfast every morning, snack on one with a layer of chocolate for lunch, and make a savory version in the evening. Well, if I had done that, I would have been round as a barrel and would have slowly started to look like a croissant. But thanks to CHANEL, we can now enjoy a croissant every morning.

The Chanel Couture Collection was shown last week and during that, Photography by, the Hadid girls and Lindsey Wixson walked the runway with a croissant in their hair. Not really, of course, but in that perfectly twisted shape. It's not entirely new, as you can also see it as a side Grace Kelly-roll, but the degree of complexity remains the same. In my opinion, it's mainly a matter of a bunch of fake hair, a lot of hairspray, and dozens of bobby pins hidden underneath. Although, after thoroughly studying croissant hairstyles, it seemed more difficult than twisting the dough in the morning and sliding it into the oven.

I love it, the croissant in the hair. And to show that it's just as easy, here a tutorial so you can start every morning with the croissant. Because the croissant may not be a desired beauty item, it probably opens new doors, new trends, and a world full of breakfast-inspired hairdos. I am looking forward to it. Finally, every morning a croissant for breakfast.

How To do Coupe Croissant

1. Make a low ponytail with your hair. You can use a very thin elastic.

2. Twist your ponytail back through the elastic. This creates a twisted effect. Repeat this a few times until your entire ponytail is twisted.

3. Lots of hairspray. Lots of bobby pins. Voilà. Croissant is being served.
