CRAZY BEAUTY HABITS OF CELEBS
But apparently they do work
Ever caught a celeb with uneven skin, a deep wrinkle, a greasy hair strand, or a broken nail? No? Right. There’s a reason for that. They have a beauty ritual that you can really learn from. Although, there are also quite a few beauty routines that will make you raise an eyebrow. Last month I already listed a few for you, but it doesn't stop there. It doesn't stop. Those celebrities know how to open their ridiculous beauty drawer and serve us a few more craziness.
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Pimples or an impure skin? Well, with some toothpaste you can dry out the skin and the pimple will disappear. If we are to believe Jennifer, because we have never caught her with dirty skin. According to beauticians, it’s not the most handy plan, as it can only make a pimple worse. And bacteria will only clog it up, causing your skin to irritate. So don’t do it.
Miranda Kerr
No highlighter at hand? No worries. Miranda Kerr simply uses a lip balm to get some shine around her eyes. A great solution, as lip balm often also works soothing and caring. It’s also nice to do something on the inside of your eyes. Another good tip from Miranda is to use a spoon to create the perfect cat-eye. Hold it in warm water for a bit and then give it an extra boost with the hairdryer. You’ll see that your lashes get an amazing curl.
Denise Richards
Avocado is really good for everything. Denise uses avocado in her hair to nourish it extremely. Now, you’re not going to squeeze avocado in the shower, but if you mix it a bit with olive oil, your hair gets very well nourished and it’s also easy to apply. Never thought Denise would have such a good home-and-garden tip.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Those beautiful locks of Catherine? They come from using beer. In the hair, that is. Massage the beer into the ends, let it sit for a bit, and then it’s nice to rinse it out. Because smelling fresh is another story.
Lady Gaga
You probably see it coming, because Lady Gaga definitely doesn’t go through life with standard rituals. And how she removes her makeup is quite a strange idea, as she does it with tape. Especially the eye makeup. Her idea is that you can easily remove glitter with tape, and if you swipe, it flies everywhere. Is it good for the skin? I wonder. But Ms. Gaga will just put another layer on.
Sienna Miller
How does she keep her hair in that amazing color? She puts ketchup in it. Is that a good idea? Ketchup is a kind of substitute for henna, which gives the hair an intense color. Is it a fresh way? I had really never heard of it and would probably switch to a better hair mask just to be safe.
Suki Waterhouse
The model secret behind her amazing hair? Coca Cola it is. The result? Just like Coca Cola. Refreshing on a certain day, not too perfect, and with a natural beach wave. But why? Tell me, why does everyone use those products that don’t smell nice in their hair? I can’t imagine wanting to be a walking soda can or radiating a snack bar feeling when using ketchup. Oh well. It will help. Suki doesn’t have amazing hair for nothing.
