Delivery services that I oh so wish I could have

I am increasingly realizing that I can actually be quite lazy sometimes, and that I can really relate to the whole ‘convenience is key’ story. If the delivery services below were to become a reality, I would be an extremely happy person.

Garbage service

I live on the third floor and my apartment is right in the middle of the street. At the end of that street, the garbage is picked up twice a week, but getting there is quite a climb and a long walk. With all your bags of trash in your arms. If someone would come by twice a week to pick it up, I would be extremely pleased with that.

Bottle collection service

And can that person also take the old bottles with them right away? Because the glass bin is even further to walk and besides, I always feel embarrassed when I dump a small wine shop's worth of bottles in those bins. “So, neighbor, had a party?” And that it’s not the case.

Bed making service

Every morning I make my bed very neatly, because otherwise I sleep a lot less comfortably. I find that fine and no longer annoying to do, but when I am in a huge rush in the morning, I sometimes don't get to it. That bothers me immensely, the idea that my bed is a mess. For that reason, and also because I would really love it if someone else did it, I am quite in favor of a service that comes to make my bed every morning. And just as neat and beautiful as in a hotel, please.

Litter box service

The most annoying household chore is cleaning the litter box. Fishing those poop pellets out of the other pellets – no thanks. Someone should come by for that too, three times a week just to tidy things up. Wonderful. I have a clean bed, cat has a clean bed. That’s only fair.

Receipt sticking service

I HATE my administration and I am disastrously bad at it. How nice would it be if someone came by every week to stick all my receipts in and make sure everything is in order?
