Fashion dilemma of the week
On the party planning: a weekend festival
Help! Wat moet ik inpakken?
Your clothing, you don't want to think too long about it in your way too cramped tent during a weekend festivals. Unfortunately, you can't drag your closet to the Into the Woods site, so hanging for an hour in front of the mirror to check out three different looks won't work either. So be creative. Because while you normally worry less about it while camping, it's quite different during a weekend festival.
Go for dresses, shorts, and easy fabrics. Because as fun as some summer items are, light colors and wrinkly fabrics are really better left at home. Stains will be on them in no time, and as the diva who constantly cleans stains or is looking for a mini iron, you don't want to be reminded of that after a weekend out with friends.

Boots, €249,- Sendra via Omoda.nl Chain hairband, €4.99 H&M
Repeat
Because besides hauling your tent, duvet, and pillow, you don't have much space left, it's definitely a good idea to combine items in different ways. Okay, this isn't for everyone, but if you've survived the day without too much beer spilled on you, then this is definitely not a crazy idea. Think of a dress that you can wear as a skirt the next day (for example, throw a T-shirt over your dress), think of clothing swaps with friends, or even items that you can wear inside out. Pretty cool, right?
Mix & Match shoulder bag, €45.95 Zara Skirt, €195, & Other Stories Originals Superstar, €106,- Adidas
T-shirt, €89,- Ganni Velvet bomber jacket, €1,890 Saint Laurent
Accessories
Let your accessories do the work. They don't take up much space, but they can really spice up your basic look. Small tip: keep them in a small bag, as this prevents you from having to rummage through your tent in the morning or waking up your friend + hangover for that lost earring.
Shoes
I probably don't need to tell you why you should leave your heels at home, but aside from those heels, it's definitely a good idea not to worry too much about shoes. Keep your freshly shopped footwear safely at home in the closet. Go for sneakers or cool boots that are comfortable but can get really dirty.
