This autumn is really all about one thing and that is me. Oh no, it's about embellished shoes. Or actually, it's about me in embellished shoes. Yes, that's what I meant to say.

Just check the shows: a fortune at your feet is the absolute hit of the upcoming autumn/winter. It's all about festive shoes with glimmers and glitters. About artistic shoes with golden studs, metallic sequins, and (fake) crystals. About shoes that you can see coming from a hundred meters away. About shoes that shine so brightly that you need sunglasses for them. In short: this season is all about shoes that should all be named Renske. Correction: that Renske should all have (yes, I'm suddenly speaking in the third person, that's very chic). Anyway: just study this dazzling selection. That's what I say: a fortune at your feet is what we all need.

1.Embellished Patent Later Ankle Boots, Dolce & Gabbana 

When I look at these shoes, I can hardly breathe. I'm really dying for these shoes. Not literally, of course, but I have to come up with something exciting to write, otherwise you'll all drop off at my first little text and that's my nightmare.

2. Embellished Suede Mary Jane Pumps, Dolce & Gabbana 

Another pair of flashy shoes from Dolce & Gabbana. I've wanted Mary Janes for a while, but I always found this type of shoe just a bit too tame for my exuberant personality. But now! What cool little things. I need to try them on.

3. Sabrina Crystal Embellished Satin Pumps, Oscar de la Renta 

These are the kind of shoes you can always wear: during the day with jeans, in the evening under a flashy evening dress. Or just with your underwear. Did I really write that? Yes, I really did. Just make sure to close the curtains. And believe me, your boyfriend will think it's all very cool. Anyway – these shoes are on sale, so that means there's no turning back, for anyone.

4. Cut out Embellished Raffia Pumps, Alaïa

Unfortunately, these showpieces are only available in size 35/36. But one of you must have size 36 and feel like spending some money, I thought. You know what it is? I'm just really good at representing interests. In this case, the interests of people with shoe sizes 35 and 36.

5. Ricamo Embellished Velvet and Woven Pumps, Sergio Rossi

Indeed! Chic as can be, but also very hip. Suitable for a cocktail party, but also for a nice dinner. And that bow on the front, what a lovely touch that is. I can totally see myself stepping out in them. They are also hugely on sale. Shoes worth almost a thousand euros for half the price. YAASSS.

6. Shearling Lined Leather Mules, Gucci

Admittedly, these ladies are not exactly covered in glitters and glimmers. But that doesn't make them any less fortunate. As far as I'm concerned, it's still a pair that you MUST have. That I must have, at least. First of all, of course, thanks to the luxurious sheepskin that pops out so cozy, and secondly, thanks to the famous iconic bit on the nose.

Come on, make me crazy, pick me up, shoot me down, everything comes to mind when I see these shoes. Goodness, how will I shine in these, don't you think? If you think I won't shine in them, then you can explain to me why not, and actually, you can also pack your things right away.

8. Glittered Metallic Leather Pumps, Miu Miu

Goodness gracious! I really need my sunglasses for this. But that's okay, because I have a really cool pair of sunglasses from Gucci. That’s all there is to say about these shoes.

9. Embellished Velvet Slippers, Dolce & Gabbana

Sometimes, very rarely, I can't handle walking in heels. Then my feet hurt, it's not normal. For those moments, I would really like to have these velvet glitter slippers from now on. They are so elegant! The little crown is also very fitting, because personally, I think I have noble blood. Maybe not officially, but I think there was a mistake made somewhere in the family trees of noble families in the Netherlands.

10. Flirting Shoes, Chiara Ferragni 

What does your eye see? Little shoes from Chiara Ferragni. And they even have those trendy eyes on them! Anyway, not too pricey, but very glittery. That's what I say: KA-CHING! That was the sound of the cash register already.
