With a booming YouTube account, a brand new job as a lifestyle editor at RTL Boulevard, and a lot of exciting plans coming up, 2016 might just be the year of Anna Nooshin. But of course, we much prefer to chat about her strange quirks. You understand that.

What is your most used excuse?

“That something is a de-focus and that I unfortunately can't do it because of that. Not really an excuse, but very handy because no one else can determine where your focus should be, and therefore no one can argue against it.”

Which movie, TV show, or series makes you cry every time?

“I can't stay dry during the movie Up, and it often goes wrong with Legends of the Fall as well. I also prefer to watch All You Need Is Love alone because I always cry. I can better not watch it at all for self-protection, haha.”

Your ultimate guilty pleasure?

“Sometimes I literally lie the whole day in the same spot in a bathrobe with music and YouTube.”

What is your secret hobby?

“Flower arranging. And doing the laundry.”

What is your biggest pointless irritation?

“People who are late and people who don't keep moving, don't cycle through, or don't drive on. Buuuut lately it's been going really well and I hardly get annoyed anymore.”

What is your strangest trait?

“What isn't? Haha. I have quite a few weird traits. I have OCD, absolutely can't stand odd numbers, and I literally time everything.”

What would people really not expect from you?

“That I am a huge horror fan, especially French horror.”

And in terms of food? What do you sneak in on the couch at night that you really shouldn't be doing?

“Dough. Cheese. Chocolate. Junk.”

What bad music do you secretly enjoy?

“Literally everything from the ‘90s, but if you ask me, that's not bad music. And I've been listening to Justin Bieber for six years, and that was also labeled as bad back then. Now the world has finally woken up.”

What word do you use just a bit too often?

“‘Very’. I really use it too often. English words like ‘Awesome’ and ‘I can’t’ too. Annoying, right?”
